Superb beautiful and heavy old traditional fishing net sinker weight, perfect used condition; carved stone, 19th century.

 

Height: 17 cm (6.6 inches)

​​Width: 14 cm (5.5 inches)

 

​Made of pecked stone in the Nguzu toto isu head form and used as weight for fishing nets. Two completed human heads carved on each side. New Georgia Vella Lavella, Solomon Islands.
